I’m a 67-year old woman of the lesbian persuasion.  I hope you’re cool with that.

In 2008 2010, I ran full marathons.

Right now, and for the foreseeable future, running is my nonpolitical passion.  My political passion is equality for all people.  That encompasses a large area, including, but not limited to GLBT rights, reproductive rights, racial and religious equality, equality for women, labor rights, and getting us out of the blunder in Iraq that our former (thank the Goddess, he’s now former) president got us into.

I retired from the US Army in 1983 after twenty-two years of service, and entered the software industry a few years later.  I retired in 2001 when the dot-com bubble burst, and am still enjoying retirement.

Special announcement: My nephew is raising money for the American Society for Suicide Prevention by competing in an Ironman Triathlon. Please check out my page about it here.
